Nervous about Psych eval - What to expect??

Hey all,

I have my psych eval on Wednesday and was just wondering what to expect?? I dont know why it makes me nervous =(.

I am sure they are different depending on the psych but all I did was go over the test he had me do.  It was like 550 questions and I answered True or False.......

Then we did the ink blot tests.......I wasn't feeling it but I survived it....

I had to fill out a survery that asked about depression, illness, alcohol, drugs, and friends/family/significant others.  What I got out of the psych eval is the counselor seeing if
1) You understand the surgery
2) you're ready (no addictions, fit for surgery, no sickness that will prevent weightloss)
3) You have support
4) You don't have severe depression (again, something that could prevent weightloss)
5)You have stable relationships. 


For me it went really well.  I was sort of freaked out but I passed.  One thing the counselor did warn me about is that relationships might end.  He said that even if we don't want to think about it, it is a reality and it is something to be prepared for.  He also mentioned that you will be treated differently after losing weight.

Nothing but a whole bunch of questions asking about yourself and your life and the questions are asked over and over again within the test...I guess to see if you'll answer the question the same twice.......ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!  It takes hours!  Sorry if I scared you.....I wish someone had told me about it...I thought I'd be there for 30 min-1 hr, but it ended up being like 3 hrs-4 hrs or so..........
